After multiple teasers in the last few weeks, Motorola has finally introduced its latest ultra-slim smartphone in China, the Moto X70 Air. The phone is now available for pre-orders in the country, with the brand revealing the variants and pricing of the device. Earlier this week, Motorola dropped a new teaser across its social media channels, hinting at the arrival of a sleek, ultra-slim handset that will make its Indian debut soon, and the device is speculated to be the Moto X70 Air.
Moto X70 Air teased to launch in India: Expected specs, price, launch timeline
Through a new teaser video, Motorola showed off a phone’s rear design, featuring four circular camera cutouts paired with an LED flash. The post is accompanied by a caption that reads, "battery that beats the clock, coming soon." Although the post doesn’t reveal the exact name of the upcoming device, industry sources suggest that this device will likely be the recently launched Moto X70 Air, and could be rebranded as Motorola Edge 70 in India and global markets.
The phone is set to launch in select global markets on November 5. The colourways and pricing of the Motorola Edge 70 could be different from those of the Moto X70 Air, but the specifications and the overall design could be identical. To recall, the Moto X70 Air is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.
Further, the Moto X70 Air features a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It has an IP68 + IP69-rated build for dust and water resistance. The Moto X70 Air features a 4,800mAh battery, supporting 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. In China, both variants of the smartphone are priced under Rs 35,000, and a similar pricing structure is expected in India.
