Microsoft has launched a new Xbox Game Pass subscription tier called Game Pass Standard. Along with other countries, it has also come to India. The Xbox Game Pass Standard is a value plan that sits in between the low-priced Game Pass Core and the high-priced Game Pass Ultimate tiers.
As per Microsoft, the Xbox Game Pass Standard “brings together features that players love about Game Pass for Console and Game Pass Core”.
Xbox Game Pass Standard plan: India price
The Xbox Game Pass Standard plan is priced at Rs 619 per month for users in India. One important thing to note is that the Xbox Game Pass Standard subscription plan excludes the games that launch on the Xbox Game Pass on day one.
As we said earlier, the Xbox Game Pass Standard plan (Rs 619 per month) lies in between the Game Pass Core plan (Rs 349 per month) and the Game Pass Ultimate plan (Rs 829 per month).
Xbox Game Pass Standard plan: Who should buy it?
The Xbox Game Pass Standard plan is mainly meant for Xbox console players. According to Microsoft, the Xbox Game Pass Standard plan aims to provide Xbox console gaming experience at “great value”.
Along with bundling in all the benefits of the Xbox Game Pass Core plan like “online console multiplayer, catalogue of over 25 high-quality games on console and member deals and discounts”, the Xbox Game Pass Standard plan gives you access to “hundreds of high-quality console games in the Game Pass library”, according to Microsoft.
With the Xbox Game Pass Standard subscription, you can do “competitive and cooperative online gaming” with others on Xbox’s multiplayer network. As a Game Pass Standard member, you’ll also be offered “deals and discounts up to 50% off select games with Game Pass promotions”.
