iQOO Z9x set to launch in India on May 16: Expected specifications, features, and more

iQoo is gearing up to launch its next smartphone in India named the iQOO Z9x. iQoo India CEO, Nipun Maurya also revealed its launch date and back design on X (formerly known as Twitter). Previously iQoo had also confirmed that the upcoming iQoo Z9X will be exclusively available from Amazon.

iQOO Z9x: Expected specifications and all other details

The iQoo Z9x will launch on May 16 and is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The official landing page of the smartphone also suggests that it could have a feather-like pattern design with dual rear cameras at the top corner, similar to its Chinese counterpart.

The two camera sensors are accompanied by an LED flash unit. The right edge of the handset can be seen with the power button and volume rocker buttons. We can also expect the Z9x to come in three different storage and RAM variants, with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The iQoo Z9x 5G was launched in China with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and a 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It has a 6.72-inch 120Hz IPS display, with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone weighs 199 grams and also has IP64 dust and water certification.

In China, the iQoo Z9x 5G starts at CNY 1,299 (Rs 15000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It is offered in three different colour options and runs with Android 14 based Origin OS out of the box.
