Apple’s launch of the iPhone 17 has prompted a price revision for the previous generation. The company has reduced the starting price of the iPhone 16 by Rs 10,000 in India. The move makes the device more accessible for buyers seeking premium features at a lower cost.
New prices for iPhone 16 series Apple updated the pricing of the iPhone 16 lineup on its official website. The standard iPhone 16 with 128GB storage now starts at Rs 69,900, down from Rs 79,900. The iPhone 16 Plus, which features a larger display and battery, now starts at Rs 79,900, reduced from Rs 89,900.

The iPhone 16 series features a dual-lens rear camera system. The main lens captures high-resolution images with improved low-light performance, while the ultra-wide lens allows wider frame shots. Night mode, Deep Fusion, and Smart HDR 4 enhance photography across different scenarios. The front TrueDepth camera supports Face ID, Center Stage, and cinematic mode video recording.
The iPhone 16 offers up to 20 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 16 Plus supports up to 26 hours. Both support fast charging, capable of reaching 50% charge in around 30 minutes, as well as MagSafe wireless charging and compatible accessories.
