Samsung has dropped the One UI 7 beta update timeline for several of its Galaxy smartphones and tablets. While the rollout is supposed to happen gradually, the first wave of the beta updates is already live for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This will soon be followed by the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy A series and M series phones.
One UI 7 brings a refreshed design language with a new Now bar on the home screen, refinement into animations, more customisations, etc.
If you want to give the One UI 7 beta a try, then here are the steps you need to know. Moreover, there are certain things that you need to keep in mind as well, so you do not lose the data or the entire devices in the process.

Make sure that the phone has enough storage space to download the installation file
Backup is the most important part here. Ensure that everything – photos, videos, calls, messages, WhatsApp, etc are backed up properly
How to enrol into the One UI 7 beta program- To enrol on the One UI 7 beta program, you’ll need the Members app.
- Open the app on your phone and log in
- Now, look for the One UI 7 beta banner on the top
- Tap on it and fill in the form with the necessary details
- Once done, head to Settings → Software updates → Check for update
- If you see a software update, install it on your phone
No rollback is required for a stable updateAfter the installation process is complete. Your phone will run ONe UI 7 Beta. You will also get the stable update once it is available and the phone will automatically suggest the update; no rollback is needed
