Honor X7d 5G has been launched in Malaysia as the latest smartphone in the company’s X series. It is available in two colour options and promises a robust build quality with long battery life. However, the company has not yet announced its pricing and availability details, with the phone currently listed on Honor’s Malaysian website in Desert Gold and Velvet Black colour options.

The Honor X7d 5G features a 6.77-inch HD+ TFT LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For photography, the Honor X7d 5G has a dual rear camera unit, with a 50MP main rear camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 5MP front-facing camera.

The device supports several AI-based features. Further, the phone has a side button that lets users launch commands and apps instantly with a single press. The budget 5G phone packs a 6,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. It also has an IP65 dust and water rating. Connectivity options on the Honor X9d 5G include 5G, GPS, Glonass, NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, OTG, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The device ships with MagicOS 9.0 on top of Android 15. It also has a dual stereo speaker setup with Honor Sound 7.3. The X9d 5G is claimed to have a 5-star SGS Premium drop resistance certification.
