It was announced at an event in Barcelona as a preview of the ongoing MWC 2025 in Barcelona. With the Alpha Plan, Honor has emphasized the need for an open, value-sharing industry approach that enhances human potential and benefits all in the years to come.

Honor’s Alpha Plan: Key details

Honor, through a newsroom post, confirmed that Alpha Plan is Honor's corporate strategy to become a leader in the AI device ecosystem space. Moreover, the brand is trying to work with leading industry partners such as Qualcomm and Google Cloud with plans to release AI-enhanced mobiles, PCs, tablets, and wearables in the coming years.

The company explained that its Alpha Plan comprises three essential steps. The first step includes the development of an intelligent phone that supports AI agents. The second step includes the physical AI era, which also refers to robotics and the need to work together to create an open AI ecosystem. The final step includes the artificial general intelligence (AGI) era, which claims to expand the boundaries of human potential.

In collaboration with Google Cloud and Qualcomm, Honor also showcased a graphical user interface (GUI) that can reserve a table at a restaurant by using third-party services. The company said it can also alert users to leave at a particular time, considering current traffic conditions, or add custom reminders.

Honor has also pledged to invest $10 billion in the next five years as it develops an intelligent phone that will revolutionize human-to-device interaction. Further, the brand wants to build a more comprehensive hardware platform and user reach in both domestic and overseas markets with this AI ecosystem.
