Honor has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Honor Play 70 Plus, in China this week. It joins the existing Play series smartphones from the brand and houses a massive 7,000mAh battery, which is the largest in its class. Honor Play 70 Plus: Price
The Honor Play 70 Plus has a starting price of CNY 1,399 (around Rs 17,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM + 512GB model is priced at CNY 1,599 (around Rs 19,000). It comes in Blue, Black, Pink, and White colour options, and will go on sale starting August 8 in China.

The Honor Play 70 Plus comes with a 6.77-inch HD+ LCD display with a peak 120Hz refresh rate and 700 nits of peak brightness. Further, the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. The phone is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance. In terms of optics, the Honor Play 70 Plus features a single 50MP rear camera and houses a 5MP selfie camera, with support for multiple AI photography features.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 70 Plus packs a large 7,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. In terms of connectivity, the handset supports Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dedicated AI button, and dual stereo speakers with Histen 7.3 sound. The Honor Play 70 Plus runs on Android 15-based Magic OS 9.0 out of the box.
