Google has added a new AI assistant feature that allows YouTube users or creators to recover their hacked accounts and safeguard them from future invasions. Many creators in the past have had to face hacking issues on their YouTube accounts, with their channel name changed and alteration on uploaded videos as well.
Earlier, these YouTube users then had to send countless emails for support or assistance in recovering their YouTube accounts. However, YouTube has now streamlined the process as a new troubleshooting AI tool will help creators recover accounts they believe have been hacked through a new hacked channel assistant.
According to Google, this new support tool will guide users through a series of questions about their Google account and their subsequent YouTube channel to first secure their login credentials and then redo all the unnecessary changes the hacker must have made. The tech giant has also assured that this new AI tool is designed to be user-friendly, guiding you step by step through the recovery process.
Currently, the tool is only available in the English language, for certain creators, but Google has assured that they are working to make the features accessible to all YouTube creators in multiple languages. Google’s support page also mentions that if the tool doesn’t work for them, they can reach out to @TeamYouTube on X and get help from there.
