Google has started rolling out a much-needed chat search feature for the Gemini app on Android, finally bringing it on par with its iOS and web counterparts. The update allows users to search across past conversations, making it easier to revisit earlier responses or pick up old threads without scrolling endlessly.

For regular users of Gemini, the app often becomes a running log of ideas, prompts, and research notes. Until now, finding something buried deep in chat history was a frustrating experience.
