Google AI Pro users can gift friends 2TB cloud storage and more with free four-month trial

Google AI Pro comes bundled with premium benefits such as 2TB Google Cloud Storage and access to the latest Gemini AI models, including Gemini 2.5 Pro and Google Veo 3 for AI video creation. Now, subscribers also have the option to share the service with friends and family through a referral programme. Using the invite feature, you can give up to three people a complimentary four-month trial of Google AI Pro.

To access the option, open Google Gemini and look for the ‘Invite a friend’ banner. Once you select it, Google will generate a personal referral link. You can copy this link to share directly or use the ‘Invite friends’ option to send it via WhatsApp or other apps. Each link allows the recipient to sign up for four months of Google AI Pro at no cost. However, they will need to add payment details during the signup process, though the autopay mandate can later be removed through their UPI or banking app.

The free trial includes the full suite of Google AI Pro features. These cover 2TB of cloud storage, Gemini models integrated across Google Workspace apps, NotebookLM for AI-assisted note-taking, and Google Veo 3, which enables text-to-video generation with sound. Together, these tools are designed to enhance productivity, creativity, and storage flexibility.

Once the trial period ends, users who want to continue will need to subscribe, with the service priced at around Rs. 2,000. Still, the four-month complimentary offer provides a no-risk way for new users to experience Google’s most advanced AI services before committing.
