There’s good news for college students in India, Google is giving free access to its premium AI tools for a whole year. This includes the Gemini Advanced subscription, which normally costs Rs 19,500 annually.

Students who are 18 years or older can claim the offer by signing up through Google’s website before September 15, 2025.

With this, students will get access to Google’s most powerful AI model called Gemini 2.5 Pro. It can help with a variety of tasks like writing essays, solving coding problems, preparing for exams, and even practicing job interviews.

Apart from AI chat help, students will also be able to use several useful tools. This includes NotebookLM for organising notes, Gemini Live for real-time conversations, and Veo 3 for making videos. They’ll also get study materials from trusted sources and smart suggestions inside Google Docs, Gmail, and Sheets.

Google is also offering 2 TB of free cloud storage, which should make it easier for students to store their notes, projects, and even photos.

According to Google, this offer is meant to help students learn faster and more confidently using AI. In fact, a recent survey by Google found that a majority of Indian students feel AI tools can make studying easier. The report also mentioned that many young people already use AI daily for learning.
