The biggest tech event of the year has already begun, and we have seen the preview of the best tech debuting this week. At a media event earlier this week, the tech press, who have gathered here in Las Vegas to cover CES, got to peek at some of the gadgets to be introduced in the vent this week. We now take a look at the top five coolest or most innovative gadgets that have been previewed at CES 2025.
Loomos AI glasses
In the past few years, we have seen various smart glasses with video recording or shooting capabilities. However, the Loomos AI glasses offer even more as it has a highly detailed 16MP camera for recording up to 4K video. Moreover, the specs offer 32 gigabytes of storage, open-ear speakers, and easy adaptability with multiple fit options. These glasses can also connect to the web over Wi-Fi and with the phone via Bluetooth.
Roborock Saros Z70
The Roborock Saros Z70 is the first mass-market advanced robot vacuum cleaner with a mechanical arm designed to pick up and move larger debris from tight spots. The five-axis robotic arm, which the company calls OmniGrip, can pick up any item that weighs as much as 300 grams and can deposit them in designated areas assigned by the user. It is expected to be launched by the first half of this year.
Eli Health Hormometer
Eli Health, a pioneer in hormone monitoring technology, has launched a unique Hormometer, which is a real-time hormone analyzer. It offers two types of hormone tests: cortisol and progesterone, and offers groundbreaking healthcare solutions by redefining hormone tracking through real-time and actionable health insights directly through saliva. The stick can even detect Type 2 diabetes and abnormal blood pressure and gives insight into all health-related data of the testing user.
Hapifork smart food reading scale
Another whimsical gadget we have seen at CES this year is the Hapifork, which is a smart fork from Kirin Electronics. It has a Bluetooth radio, a capacitive sensor, and a vibration motor built-in that gives food intake data to the user every time the fork touches their mouth. The fork pairs with a mobile app that not only tracks every bite but also when your meal begins and ends. Hapilabs has confirmed that the fork will be available soon for $99.99 (around Rs 8,500).
Omnia smart mirror
One of the most unique gadgets on display at CES this year has to be the Withings’ OMNIA smart mirror. With the help of its smart sensors, the mirror provides all required health readings the moment the user steps up on a specially designed base. It can provide body/metabolic composition and other metrics to provide an overall snapshot of the health of any individual. However, it’s still not available for sale yet.
