The Forza Horizon 6 teaser trailer ends by showing us a beautiful landscape with houses on the side of a calm water body and Mount Fuji in the distance.
Forza Horizon 6: Why Japan was chosen as the setting
Here is why Playground Games chose Japan as the setting for Forza Horizon 6:
“Japan has been one of the most iconic and requested locations by the community, and bringing the Horizon Festival to this incredible region has been one of our largest ambitions yet. We recognize its importance to our players, and we feel the same way,”, the developer noted.
Forza Horizon 6: Coming to Xbox Series and PC first, and to PS5 later
Forza Horizon 6 will arrive on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC first in 2026. The open world racing simulator will be included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass at launch. Moreover, the developers also have plans to bring Forza Horizon 6 to PlayStation 5 later.
“With the excitement for this franchise on other platforms, we also have Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios working together to bring Forza Horizon 6 to PlayStation 5 post-launch,” the developers said on a website post.
Forza Horizon 6 can now be wishlisted on the Microsoft Store and Steam.
