Flipkart is taking speed to a whole new level this festive season. As the e-commerce giant gears up for the 12th edition of its flagship Big Billion Days sale, it has announced that its quick commerce arm, Flipkart Minutes, will deliver products in just 10 minutes. The service will go live at midnight as the sale begins.
Covering 19 cities and 3,000 pin codes, Flipkart Minutes will bring customers not just groceries and daily essentials but also mobiles, electronics, beauty products, and even festive hampers, all at lightning speed. The company claims this will make the Big Billion Days the “fastest shopping festival” in the country.
“Within a year, Minutes has established itself as the fastest-growing quick commerce platform in India,” said Hemant Badri, senior vice president at Flipkart. “This season, we are bringing everything from blockbuster smartphones to local sweets right to customers’ doorsteps in minutes.”
The service will operate 24x7 throughout the festival and is seeing strong adoption in Tier-II and emerging markets, including cities like Ambala, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, and Patna. Flipkart says this wider presence ensures that the benefits of the sale aren’t limited to metros.
What makes this year special, according to the company, is not just the scale of offers and product variety, but also the speed of delivery. With Flipkart Minutes, millions of households can shop without worrying about delays, making festive celebrations easier and faster.
By combining quick commerce with its massive supply chain network, Flipkart is betting big on speed and convenience as the future of online shopping in India.
