US President Donald Trump believes artificial intelligence (AI) is the next big revolution, comparing it to the internet itself.
When asked by a reporter whether he was worried about experts warning of an “AI bubble,” Trump seemed unfazed. “What’s the AI problem?” he asked. The reporter explained that some experts believe investors are overreacting to the technology’s potential.
Trump, however, dismissed those concerns. “Everybody wants AI because it’s the new internet. It’s the new everything. It’s one of the biggest things anyone’s ever seen,” he said. “So everyone wants it. Yeah. I mean, the only problem is if you don’t get it.”
His remarks reflect growing excitement and investment around artificial intelligence globally. Tech companies are betting heavily on AI-powered tools, from chatbots to advanced chips, while governments are working on new policies to manage its rapid growth.
Trump’s comment also highlights how AI has become a political and economic talking point in the US, especially as tech leaders and regulators debate its risks and rewards.
Whether or not there’s a bubble, one thing is clear- AI is being seen by many including Trump as the next major technological revolution.
