DJI has introduced the DJI Flip, a compact all-in-one vlog camera drone designed to offer safe flying and enhanced aerial photography. Weighing less than 249g, the drone features foldable, full-coverage propeller guards for safety. Equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, it captures 48MP photos and 4K videos. DJI Flip is tailored for users of varying expertise levels, combining intelligent shooting features with strong safety mechanisms.

Features

DJI Flip incorporates foldable, full-coverage propeller guards made of lightweight carbon fibre. This design reduces the risk of injury and damage, providing secure flying experiences. The drone includes an automatic braking system supported by a 3D infrared sensing system, enhancing safety even in low-light conditions.

The 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor in the DJI Flip supports 48MP photos and 4K HDR video at up to 60fps. Additional features include Dual Native ISO Fusion, f/1.7 aperture, and 4x zoom for detailed imagery. The camera also supports 10-bit D-Log M color mode, 4K slow-motion at 100fps, and vertical crop options optimized for smartphone viewing.

Six intelligent shooting modes, including Dronie, Circle, and Boomerang, are available with a single tap. AI Subject Tracking helps keep subjects in the frame. Other tools like MasterShots, Hyperlapse, FocusTrack, and Panorama enable creative content creation.

The DJI Flip offers a maximum flight time of 31 minutes with its Intelligent Flight Battery. The O4 video transmission system provides a range of up to 13 km with 1080p/60fps clarity.

The drone supports voice control, parallel charging for two batteries, and quick data transfers at 30MB/s. It can be operated using a remote controller or the DJI Fly app.
