The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 4.1 update is set to roll out on November 13, 2025, bringing new features, performance improvements, and map enhancements for players across Android and iOS platforms. Developer Krafton has announced a phased rollout plan to ensure smooth deployment across devices, promising new gameplay experiences and system optimisations.

Rollout schedule
According to Krafton, the BGMI 4.1 update rollout will take place in stages for different platforms. For Android users, the update will begin with a 30 percent rollout at 6:30 AM IST, expand to 50 percent by 9:30 AM IST, and reach 100 percent availability by 11:30 AM IST on Google Play. iOS users will receive the complete rollout at 9:30 AM IST via the App Store, while the full APK file will be made available on the official BGMI website by 12:30 PM IST.

New features and gameplay changes
The BGMI 4.1 update introduces a variety of in-game improvements and new additions. One of the major updates includes a new “Penguin Town” hot drop location in the Erangel map, offering themed loot zones and a time-based reward crate hidden inside a large penguin statue. Players will also get access to new weapons such as the Fish Rocket Launcher and ice-based gadgets that add tactical depth to matches.
Other changes include the introduction of the Blue Fin Tuna Syringe — a new consumable item that enhances movement speed and recovery — and looting enhancements that allow players to collect items even while knocked out. The update also marks the start of the Snow Festival event, bringing winter-themed gameplay elements and rewards.

The BGMI 4.1 update continues Krafton’s focus on enhancing user experience through incremental feature updates. The gradual rollout will ensure server stability and compatibility across devices, paving the way for upcoming events in BGMI Esports 2026.
