The budget-friendly iPhone – the iPhone 16e – will go pre-orders in India later today. Interested buyers can now head to Apple’s official website as well as other online and offline retail platforms to pre-book their phones. The device features the A18 chip and Apple Intelligence capabilities.

The iPhone 16e is available in three storage variants—128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Apple is offering discounts on select payment methods.

The iPhone 16e can be pre-ordered from Apple’s online and offline stores, as well as from authorized retailers, including Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma. Customers can place pre-orders starting February 21 at 6:30 PM IST.

Apple is offering up to Rs 4000 instant cashback on Americal Express, ICICI Bank and Axis bank credit cards.
With all the discounts included, the iPhone 16e price will start at Rs 55,900.
Specifications
The iPhone 16e features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with a Ceramic Shield front cover. It runs on the A18 chip with a 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU. The device supports Apple Intelligence, offering machine learning and AI-driven features.
The smartphone has a 48MP Fusion camera with a 2x telephoto lens and supports 4K video recording with Dolby Vision. It includes Spatial Audio recording, compatible with AirPods and Apple Vision Pro. Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance via satellite are also available.
The iPhone 16e is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. It includes Face ID, an Action Button for quick access to features, and USB-C and wireless charging. Apple claims battery life is up to six hours longer than the iPhone 11.
The device runs on iOS 18 and will receive an update in April to support multiple Indian languages, including Bangla, Tamil, and Telugu.
