As Holi approaches, Amazon India is going all in on festive shopping with the launch of its dedicated Holi Store. The online storefront brings together everything from colours and sweets to fashion, gadgets, and home décor, all in one place.

The idea is to make last-minute festive shopping easier, especially for customers looking to avoid crowded markets. From herbal gulal and gujiyas to pichkaris, party outfits and speakers, the store covers a wide range of essentials for Holi celebrations.

A big focus this year is on AI-powered shopping.

Amazon is highlighting tools like Rufus, its AI assistant, which can help users discover products through simple queries. For example, shoppers can ask for Holi party suggestions or safe colours for kids and get personalised recommendations instantly. Another feature, Lens AI, allows users to upload or click a picture of a product and find similar items on the platform.

There is also an AI Review Highlights feature that scans thousands of user reviews and presents key takeaways, helping shoppers make quicker decisions. For those planning home gatherings, the “View in Your Room” tool lets users visualise how décor items like rangoli sets or seating arrangements will look in their space before buying.

Beyond tech, Amazon is also pushing deals across categories.

Customers can find eco-friendly, skin-safe colours starting at low prices, along with discounts on sweets, gifting hampers, and grocery essentials. Pre- and post-Holi care products, including skincare and cleaning supplies, are also available at reduced prices, which could come in handy after a day of celebrations.

For those planning bigger gatherings, the platform is promoting items like inflatable pools, party décor, and water guns to add a fun twist to Holi parties. Electronics such as portable speakers and action cameras are also part of the lineup, targeting users who want to capture and share moments from the festival.

Amazon is also leaning on fast delivery to attract buyers. Through its “Amazon Now” service, available in select cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, customers can get Holi essentials delivered within minutes.

On the payments side, the company is offering cashback through Amazon Pay, along with additional discounts for Prime members and credit card users during the festive period.

With Holi being one of the biggest shopping moments before the summer season, Amazon’s strategy seems clear. Combine festive demand with AI-led discovery and fast delivery to make shopping as seamless as possible.

For customers, it means one thing. Whether it is colours, clothes, or last-minute party supplies, everything is now just a few clicks away.
