After introducing its Firefly-branded generative AI model for the web platform, Adobe has now released a Firefly app on both iOS and Android. It is available for free download on their respective app stores and has been designed to offer the same Firefly experiences that users use on the web, but in a convenient, mobile-friendly user interface. Moreover, this app will help in creating high-quality images and videos from their phones using advanced AI technology.
Adobe Firefly’s app launched on the mobile platform: Key detailsThe Firefly app for iOS and Android includes access to Adobe’s text-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video tools, alongside the Generative Fill and Generative Expand features that can be found in Adobe Photoshop. Adobe has also confirmed that it will use AI models from its Google and OpenAI partners to help in “AI-assisted ideation, creation, and production” of media files.
Within this app, users can get access to Adobe’s in-house AI models along with GPT image generation, Imagen 3, Veo 2, Flux 1.1 Pro, and other AI tools. It is also capable of generating and editing long as well as short-form videos in high quality in the palm of your hands, without the need for a laptop or web browser. It also brings Photoshop, Lightroom and Adobe Express tools to create social content or presentations.
How to download the Firefly appThe Firefly app can also sync with Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications, which allows users to enjoy project continuity across multiple devices.
