Prithvi Shaw turned 25 on November 9 (Saturday) and he surely had a blast celebrating it with a group of friends. A video has gone viral on social media, which presumably is from Shaw's birthday party. In the video, the out-of-favour batter can be seen dancing with a group of friends.
The video, however, didn't sit well with fans, who wasted no time rebuking the actions of the cricketer. Here are a few reactions:

Shaw has been struggling for fitness but was included in Mumbai's list of 28 probable for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which is scheduled to be held from November 23 to December 15.
Shaw's inclusion brings in a fresh lease of life for the opener, who not very long ago found himself out of reckoning in the Ranji Trophy for the defending champions Mumbai. He was dropped from the Mumbai squad for their away Ranji Trophy clash against Tripura owing to fitness and disciplinary matters.
Shaw, who was once regarded as one of India's brightest prospects in cricket, has majorly been in the news for wrong reasons, mainly related to disciplinary issues. He had represented India in five Tests, six ODIs, and one T20I since making his international debut six years ago.
As per reports, Shaw regularly skipped Mumbai’s training sessions and appeared a “little overweight”, leading to selectors looking at other options. "You have to look at his fitness and his running when he is on the field. The MCA has a rich history and there cannot be exceptions for a certain player," an official from Mumbai Cricket Association had told PTI.
However, Shaw was back to work post the birthday celebration. He shared a story on Instagram from the gym on Sunday morning and wrote: "Chalo kaam pe (Lets start working.)"
