A day after his comment on Babar Azam went viral, Ramiz Raja was back making headlines for yet another inappropriate remark. This time it was Pakistan spinner Noman Ali, who became Raja's latest target while performing his commentating duties during the first Test against South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The incident took place on Day 2 when Noman was getting ready to bowl the 25th over. He was seen wearing a sunglass, which sparked the reaction from Raja.
"He's wearing a fancy pair of glasses, Noman Ali. Looks like welding glasses," noted Raja on commentary.
During Pakistan's first innings, Babar was exposed to a taunt by Raja on commentary, which went viral on social media. The incident took place in the 49th over bowled by Senuran Muthusamy as Babar was given out by the on-field umpire. However, he decided to challenge the umpire's decision by opting for a DRS, which turned out to be successful.
It was during that moment Ramiz was heard saying: “Yeh out hain, drama karega (This is out; now he will be doing drama)."

Babar was eventually dismissed for 23(48) before getting trapped LBW against Simon Harmer.
The ongoing match is Pakistan and South Africa's first Test in the current 2025-27 cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC). While Proteas are the defending champions, Pakistan had finished at the bottom of the WTC table in the previous cycle.
However, Shan Masood-led unit have started the brand new edition on a strong note and piled 378 in the first innings after winning the toss and opting to bat. The hosts then folded South Africa for 269, which allowed them a healthy lead of 109 runs.
Pakistan are batting at 150/5 in the second innings as two sessions have been completed on Day 3.
