Hyderabad: The Sri Radha Govinda Rath Yatra 2024, one of the most awaited spiritual events of the year will be held on December 13 under the auspices of the Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad. The 4th Annual Rath Yatra Festival will begin in the evening from Kokapet and proceed towards the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower, Narsingi, drawing devotees eager to witness the grand celebration.

A Sacred Journey from Kokapet to Narsingi

This year’s yatra will follow a devotional route from Kokapet, offering devotees an opportunity to participate in kirtans, chanting, and the traditional pulling of the divine chariot carrying the deities of Sri Radha and Govinda. The procession is expected to attract families, youth, and spiritual seekers, continuing the growing tradition of Rath Yatra celebrations in Hyderabad.

Governor Invited as Chief Guest

The President of the Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, and Regional President of The Akshaya Patra Foundation (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh), Sriman Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu ji, has extended a formal invitation to the Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, to attend the festival as the chief guest. The invitation was personally presented by Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhu ji, highlighting the cultural and spiritual significance of the event.
