With the onset of winter, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has revised the daily routine of Ramlala, extending his night-time rest by one hour. The adjustment, effective immediately, ensures that the deity’s rituals align with seasonal changes and lower temperatures.
According to temple officials, the early morning Mangala Aarti will now take place 40 minutes later than before, offering Ramlala additional rest before the day’s first darshan. Similarly, the night-time rituals have been pushed ahead, allowing the deity to retire earlier.
The temple’s chief priest, Acharya Satyendra Das, confirmed that the winter schedule has been carefully designed to maintain tradition while providing comfort. “Just as humans adapt their routines in winter, the deity’s schedule is also modified. The change ensures that Ramlala receives adequate rest,” he said.
As part of the revised schedule, the morning darshan will now begin later, and certain rituals—such as dressing, ornamentation, and food offerings—have also been adjusted. The Shringaar Aarti, previously held earlier, will now take place after the extended rest period, synchronizing all temple activities with the new timing.
The temple administration added that the shift accommodates the growing number of devotees arriving from across the country. With winter crowds expected to rise further, the refined schedule aims to maintain smooth movement and ensure comfortable darshan for visitors.
The adjustment in the daily timetable of Ramlala marks the second such seasonal change since the grand opening of the temple earlier this year.
