Ram Navami 2025: Grand 'Shikhar' of Ram Temple in Ayodhya to be Installed After 500-Year Wait

The long-awaited dream of millions of devotees is now turning into reality as the grand Shikhar (pinnacle) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set for installation. The temple’s construction has entered its final phase, and on April 3, 2025, a sacred consecration ceremony was performed for the temple's main Shikhar and six other temple pinnacles within the complex. This significant ritual was conducted with full Vedic traditions by 11 esteemed scholars, marking a crucial step in the completion of the temple. Now, with the Shikhar installation process underway, the temple is expected to be fully prepared before Ram Navami.

According to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Secretary, Champat Rai, the temple’s construction is almost finished, and the Shikhar, made of intricately carved stone, is now ready for installation. The collective puja (ritual ceremony) for the main Shikhar and six other temple pinnacles was held on April 3, in the presence of trust officials, engineers, and construction representatives. With this, the installation process of the temple’s towering Shikhar is now in full swing.

On April 3, a grand consecration ceremony was conducted for all seven temple pinnacles, including the main Shri Ram temple Shikhar and six additional temples within the complex. The event witnessed the participation of Vedic scholars, engineers from Larsen & Toubro, and members of the trust. With this, the temple construction has moved one step closer to its final milestone.

Now that the Shikhar consecration is complete, the installation process has begun. As each phase of the temple nears completion, the grand vision of the Ram temple is becoming a reality. Devotees will soon get the long-awaited opportunity to witness and worship at the fully completed Ram temple in Ayodhya.
