Dedicated parking space for improved traffic flowThe redevelopment of Deshnok Station is part of the launch of 103 Amrit Stations across 86 districts in 18 states and Union Territories, inaugurated by PM Modi from Bikaner. This infrastructure drive, costing over Rs 1,100 crore, aims to transform key railway hubs into modern, passenger-friendly spaces. Deshnok currently has a single platform, but construction of another platform is underway. This expansion will allow more trains to halt, boosting accessibility and convenience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
While Deshnok may be a smaller station, it holds immense significance for regional growth. With enhanced connectivity to the Karni Mata Temple, the revamped station is expected to drive local employment, boost religious tourism, and contribute to inclusive economic development.
