The festival which is among the largest religious gatherings on the planet – Maha Kumbh Mela, that attracts millions will occur in 2025 at Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh. Mark your calendars – this big show will run from January 13 to February 26, 2025. This means that if you are planning on attending this once in a life time event, you have no reason not to be prepared. In order to ensure that you get the most out of this celebration here are ten fundamental facts about Kumbh Mela that you need to know.

  1. It is Mega Event with Millions of Pilgrims The Maha Kumbh Mela is attended by Millions of devotees, Sages and tourists throughout the globe. It is held after every 12 years, the time when Prayagraj turns into a city of tents, roads, makeshift structures and facilities, catering to the influx of so many people.
