Pradosha Vrat, observed twice a month, falls on the Trayodashi Tithi (13th lunar day) of both the waxing (Shukla Paksha) and waning (Krishna Paksha) phases of the moon. This year, Bhauma Pradosha Vrat also known as Mangala Pradosha falls on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. When this day aligns with a Tuesday, it is known as Bhauma Pradosha or Mangala Pradosha, combining the energy of Lord Shiva with that of Lord Mangala (Mars).

The Pradosha Kala, or the time just after sunset when Trayodashi Tithi is in effect, is considered highly sacred for performing Shiva Puja. This window allows devotees to connect deeply with divine energies and seek blessings for strength and protection.
