Ayodhya to Get Ramayana Theme Park Near Sarayu Ghat Featuring Grand Sculptures of Lord Ram, Ravana and Hanuman

The Uttar Pradesh government is developing a Ramayana-themed park near the Sarayu Ghat in Ayodhya, set to become one of the most magnificent attractions in the temple town. The project aims to celebrate India’s timeless epic, the Ramayana, through detailed sculptures and artistic installations depicting key moments from the life of Lord Ram.

According to sculptor Brijesh Kumar, the park will showcase grand sculptures depicting major episodes of the Ramayana, from the birth of Lord Ram to his victory over Ravana. The initiative is designed to honor the divine journey of Maryada Purushottam Ram, bringing alive the spiritual and cultural heritage of Ayodhya, the sacred birthplace of Lord Ram.

Sculptures of Iconic Characters

The theme park will feature massive statues of Hanuman, Sugreev, Vibhishana, Ravana and several other legendary figures from the epic. Each sculpture will represent significant episodes that highlight the values of devotion, bravery and righteousness. Artists are working meticulously to ensure each statue reflects the divinity and grandeur associated with these revered characters.

A Major Tourist Attraction in the Making

Once completed, the Ramayana Theme Park near Sarayu Ghat is expected to become a major tourist attraction, drawing pilgrims, history enthusiasts and art lovers from across the country and abroad. Designed with intricate artistry and cultural depth, the park will offer visitors a chance to walk through the timeless narrative of Lord Ram’s journey in a visual and spiritual form.

The initiative reflects Uttar Pradesh’s ongoing efforts to promote religious tourism in Ayodhya, aligning with the larger vision of developing the city into a global spiritual destination. The Ramayana Park is expected to complement the grandeur of the newly constructed Ram Mandir, adding another dimension to Ayodhya’s cultural landscape.
