Ayodhya, the holy city of Shri Ram, is all set to witness another significant milestone in the construction of the Ram Mandir. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has begun preparations for the next phase of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremonies, where seven new idols will be consecrated, and elaborate Vedic rituals will be performed to infuse divine energy into the temple.
Following the successful installation of the Navagraha idols, the temple is now preparing for the sacred rituals of Aushadhivas (sanctifying with herbs) and Shayadhivas (ceremonial resting). The idol of Ram Darbar, featuring Shri Ram along with Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, and Hanuman, will be installed on the first floor of the temple. The consecration process will follow specific Vedic methods for each idol, enhancing the spiritual vibration of the temple. The rituals of Pran Pratishtha are considered the soul-infusing ceremonies that bring the divine presence into the murtis (idols), making the temple a spiritually active place of worship. This upcoming phase of idol installations marks another historic moment for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. With sacred traditions, devotional grandeur, and deep cultural roots, Ayodhya is set to resonate once again with spiritual fervour and divine celebrations.
