US has been 'kind of pushy' in global affairs, should 'mind its own business': Elon Musk

Billionaire Elon Musk said at the World Government Summit in Dubai that US "should mind its own business" and that it has been "kind of pushy" in international affairs.

Elon Musk said US public is supportive of the government efficiency panel DOGE and that there are elements of the bureaucracy who are not supportive because they're moving them to the private sector.

"We want to restore rule of the people, that means reducing the size of the federal government," said Musk.

"How many agencies do you need to run a country? 99? Not 450, that's for sure. We have to really delete entire agencies, many of them," added the Tesla CEO.

"US government spending can be reduced by about $1 trillion or more. That would mean no inflation in 2025-2026. So, that would be quite powerful," said Musk.

Musk said on Thursday his AI chatbot, and ChatGPT challenger, Grok 3 is in the final stages and will be released in about a week or two.

"Grok 3 in tests has outperformed anything that's been released that we're aware of. We're really in the final stages, Grok 3 will be released in about a week or two. It might be the last time any AI is better than Grok," said Musk.

UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence Omar Sultan Al Olama announced on Thursday a partnership with Elon Musk on Dubai Loop.
