Viya Home’s 2015 collection

Viya Home’s 2015 collection takes its inspiration from oriental temples, jigsaw puzzles to even the art deco style of colonial India. The series comprises of coffee tables, cocktail tables, dining tables, lamps and chandeliers. Part of this collection, the stunning Borbodur lamp made from brass, takes its inspiration from the magnificent sprawling Buddhist shrine in the Central Java Island. Next up is the unique Jigsaw table that is hand-crafted by welding together individual sheets of beaten metal. In the opinion that the art deco style influenced the making of famous Mumbai landmark buildings such as Regal, Eros and Liberty cinemas; the Pluto dining table is an ode to this timeless period.
