Fisher & Paykel introduces glass induction hobs

For cooking aficionados, Fisher & Paykel has introduced a new range of glass induction hobs in a 90 cm (five zone), 60 cm (four zone) and 30 cm (two zone) variation. Auto heat-up and the touch-and-slide feature that eases temperature navigation are one of the few four features introduced. Each zone of the induction hob is equipped with Power Boost, a function that provides an intense or gentle heat, a very low simmer or high temperature instantly. The flat ceramic glass surface of these hobs makes it convenient to clean. Another exciting feature is the Pan Detection which will alert if a hob is turned on without a pan or pot. When there is no response, it switches itself to zero. They also produce an electromagnetic vibration which induces the pot or pan to generate heat on its own. The result is faster heating with better precision.
