    Eurozone inflation inches up to 2.6% in July

    The eurozone's annual rate of inflation edged up in July to 2.6 percent due to rising energy costs, official data showed on Wednesday.

    Consumer prices rose from 2.5 percent in June, higher than expectations by analysts for FactSet predicting inflation would fall slightly to 2.4 percent.
