A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth, blocking some or all of the sun’s light from reaching Earth. The solar eclipse occurred on April 8, 2024, was a total solar eclipse which engulfed North America, specifically crossing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
