Expectation of bumper crop in the current ongoing Rabi season has forced Chana prices to slip sharply from its record highs of Rs. 12,500 per quintals in the month of October. As per second advance estimates released by department of Agriculture, this year Chana production in the country is expected to be around 9.12 million tons highest after the year 2013/14 when 9.53 million tonnes of Chana was produced in the country.By: Skymetweather.com
