Continuous import of Wheat may force wheat prices to trade below minimum support prices ahead of new crop arrival pressure from Rabi crop. Better than expected production from the Kharif crops and likely bumper crop from Rabi season has put pressure on Wheat prices. Since mid-2016 to till date, India has bought more than five million tons of wheat, its biggest annual purchase in a decade.By: Skymetweather.com
