Rabi sowing of Mustard is robust this season due to sufficient to excess rains received in growing regions of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. MSP for mustard seed was raised by Rs 50 to Rs 3050 per quintal to encourage more sowing. Higher MSP in the last two years has supported increased production of mustard seed.By: Skymetweather.com
