Tiger Woods confirms relationship with Donald Trump's ex-daughter-in-law: 'Love is in the air'

Legendary golfer Tiger Woods has confirmed his relationship with the former daughter-in-law of US President Donald Trump, Vanessa Trump. The 82-time TOUR winner made the announcement by sharing a couple of pictures on social media.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts," he wrote on X.

The announcement follows after the couple was featured in gossip outlets widely for several weeks. It is likely to have prompted Woods, who keeps his personal life fiercely private, to publish photos confirming the relationship.

Vanessa, 47, was married to Donald Trump Jr from 2005 to 2018. They have five children together. One of them, 17-year-old Kai is set to play golf at the University of Miami in 2026. He also attends the same school as two of Woods’s children, The Guardian reported.

On November 12, 2005, Vanessa married Donald Trump Jr at the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida and filed for an uncontested divorce on March 2018 which was settled by the end of 2018 after resolving a child custody problem.

Woods, 49, was previously married to Swedish model Elin Nordegren. The couple divorced in 2010 after the golfer became embroiled in a highly publicised infidelity scandal. Since then, Woods has been involved in other high-profile relationships.

According to The Guardian, Woods has played golf with Donald Trump on several occasions. The US President had awarded Woods the presidential medal of freedom in 2019 and the duo had met in February at the White House to golf.
