One of Shark Tank India's newest judges this season and the founder of Oyo Ritesh Agarwal recently came across Rana Daggubati and revealed that the Baahubali actor is an angel investor and has invested in several startups.

"On my way to catch a flight, I bumped into Rana Daggubati at the airport recently,' Agarwal wrote on X. "As we got conversing in Telugu he told me he ardently follows Shark Tank India. Not a lot of people know but he is an angel investor and has a wide interest in multiple domains in technology and actively has invested in many startups."

According to a report by South China Morning Post (SCMP), Rana Daggubati is no stranger to making big investments. He has several lucrative side hustles that have allowed him to amass a multimillion-dollar fortune.

The actor has invested in a metaverse venture called Ikonz which received a huge capital injection from Village Global -- an early-stage venture capital firm -- backed by some of the biggest names in tech including Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Jeff Bezos.

Rana Daggubati also owns an animation and VFX studio called Spirit Media, a talent management company, a stake in a venture capital firm, and his family’s production house, SCMP reported. Additionally, he is also the co-owner of Hyderabad Football Club and he invested in Amar Chitra Katha -- the country's leading comic book company.
