A video shared by social worker and digital creator Yash Mane has gained significant attention online after showing him taking a group of homeless children into a five-star hotel in Varanasi for a meal.
The footage documents an incident at Taj Ganges, where the group was initially refused entry. According to Mane, hotel staff did not allow them inside at first, prompting him to remain at the entrance and continue discussions with security personnel.
Describing the situation in his post, he wrote: “When I tried to take them inside Taj Ganga – a 5 Star Hotel in Banaras, they were not allowed to enter. I stood there and argued… not for me, but for them.”
He added that the exchange lasted for around half an hour before access was eventually granted. “After 30 minutes, the doors finally opened,” he said.

Once inside, the children were seated and served a full meal in the hotel’s dining area. The video shows them reacting with visible excitement and curiosity as they experienced the setting, which appeared unfamiliar to them.
Reflecting on the moment, Mane wrote: “For the first time, these children sat inside Taj Ganga 5 Star Hotel and had a proper meal.”
He concluded his post with a broader message about the impact of persistence: “Sometimes a small fight can fulfill someone’s biggest dream.”
The video soon garnered a lot of attention and several reactions from Instagram users. While some commentors hailed Mane's kindness, others called it a publicity stunt or a deed done for views.
