Massive snake dangles from Mumbai building in shocking video

A hair-raising video, filmed in Mumbai’s Thane, shows a massive snake dangling from a window. The video shows two men working to capture the snake, which some people on social media identified as a python.

In the shocking clip, the snake can be seen dangling from the window grill of a residential building. Two men were seen trying to disentangle it – with one of them standing on the ledge underneath the window. They were eventually successful in doing so and the video shows the snake falling to the ground.

The video was shared on the microblogging platform X by a user name Sneha. “A huge snake was spotted at a Thane Building, it was rescued by two brave persons, rescue video,” she wrote.

“Looks gigantic. Thank you to the rescue team,” wrote one person. “The men did not rescue the snake, they rescued all of Thane,” said another.

One person suggested the snake could be an albino Burmese python which would explain its light yellow colour. The person also said that someone in the vicinity of the building might be breeding snakes.

Speaking to Moneycontrol, Sneha said that she received the video from a local resident of Naupada area in Thane. The snake was spotted yesterday evening in the area after heavy rainfall.
