The government‘s Make In India initiative aims to make the country a manufacturing powerhouse. Realizing the tremendous potential India has, GE has set up a multi-modal manufacturing facility at Chakan in Pune.

The government’s Make In India initiative aims to make the country a manufacturing powerhouse. Realizing the tremendous potential India has, GE has set up a multi-modal manufacturing facility at Chakan in Pune. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this facility is spread over 67 acres and will make products for different lines of business using shared infrastructure.
