25% rebate on property tax in Haryana if dues cleared fully

Haryana Government has decided to grant one-time rebate of 25 per cent to those property owners who would pay all their dues of property tax and arrears for the years 2010-11 to 2016-17, by February 28, 2017.

Haryana Government has decided to grant one-time rebate of 25 per cent to those property owners who would pay all their dues of property tax and arrears for the years 2010-11 to 2016-17, by February 28, 2017.

An additional rebate of 1 percent will also be given if the payment is made through cashless system, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Kavita Jain said in an official release here today.

She said that in case of late payment, interest at the rate of 1.5 per cent per month or part thereof would be charged.

The one-time waiver of interest on the arrears of property tax pending since year 2010-11 to 2016-17 would be allowed to all tax payers, if their arrears are paid up to February 28, 2017, she further said.
