It has been smouldering for a while, but now the smoke signals can be seen outside the Bihar secretariat. Nitish Kumar is miffed with his advisor Prashant Kishor. Yes, you heard it right. Miffed with the same man who was behind the Mahagathbandhan's grand victory in Bihar last year.

This is why. Soon after his historic victory, NK had handed over to PK a Cabinet rank and a mission. The Bihar Vikas Mission idea was conceived by Kishor himself. The cabinet rank was Nitish's idea. So that he could keep his advisor closer to home.

But then, Kishor had set his sights on horizons beyond Bihar. He could not give much time to the mission because of his new assignment with the Congress in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. He did not attend its meetings. Out of sight and out of mind. In fact Nitish was even heard asking his babus what happened to the vision document that Kishor's team had promised.Read more at POWER CIRCUIT
