    Dates for the Monsoon session of Parliament expected today

    Indications are that the session is likely to begin on July 20. The monsoon session is likely to be a stormy affair with the opposition gunning for the resignation of Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje over the Lalit Modi visa fiasco.

    The dates for the Monsoon Session of Parliament are expected to be finalised on Wednesday.

    The Union Cabinet will meet at 10:30 AM at the Prime Minister's residence at 7 Race Course Road while the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs will meet at noon.

    Indications are that the session is likely to begin on July 20. The monsoon session is likely to be a stormy affair with the opposition gunning for the resignation of Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje over the Lalit Modi visa fiasco.

    The government is looking forward to push through key bills and get approval for the recently-promulgated ordinances. But doing so will be a tough affair with the growing controversy surrounding the Visa issue.
