DMK tresurer and party chief M Karunanidhi's son M K Stalin today left for New Delhi.

The leader is likely to meet his sister Kanimozhi, lodged in Tihar jail for her alleged role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.

Stalin, also DMK's Legislature Party Leader, left by a government carrier.

Karunanidhi, who met Kanimozhi at the jail last week, had told reporters here on his return from Delhi that his daughter was shut in the prison in an "inhuman manner".

He had also stated that Kanimozhi was suffering from blisters and swelling on her body.

Stalin will meet Kanimozhi at the Tihar jail at 4 pm.

"Three DMK leaders including M K Stalin, A K S Vijayan and T R Baalu will meet Kanimozhi at the jail today," a Tihar jail official said.
