2G accused managers can influence witnesses: Swamy

Janata Party President and 2G petitioner Subramanian Swamy has said that the bail for five corporate executives in the spectrum scam can be a setback to the case saying that they are capable of influencing witnesses.

"These are all very rich people and capable of influencing the witnesses," Swamy said.

He said that the Supreme Court must have had some strong reason to grant bail to the five corporate executives charged in the 2G Scam.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to Unitech's Managing Director Sanjay Chandra, Swan Telecom's Director Vinod Goenka as well of Reliance ADAG officials Gautam Doshi, Hari Nair and Surendra Pipara on two sureties of RS 5 lakh each.
