A recruitment applicant from Rohtas district has claimed that the admit card issued for a court recruitment examination displayed the photograph of a Golden Retriever instead of his own image.

The candidate, identified as Rakesh Kumar, said he had applied for the position of a peon at the district court after a recruitment notification was issued several years ago.

According to Kumar, he submitted his application in 2022 when vacancies were announced for peon posts at the District and Sessions Court Rohtas. He said he also received an acknowledgement receipt confirming that his application had been successfully submitted.

However, after waiting for several years for the recruitment process to progress, Kumar said the admit cards for the examination scheduled on March 15, 2026 were finally released.

When he downloaded the document in preparation for the examination, he said he noticed that the photograph printed on the admit card was not his. Instead, the document allegedly carried the image of a Golden Retriever.

Kumar has maintained that he had provided the correct photograph at the time of completing the online application. He said the acknowledgement slip issued during the submission process contains the details of his application and can be used to verify that he had uploaded the appropriate image.

According to the candidate, the alleged mistake has also affected him socially. He said the error has led to embarrassment in his local community after people became aware of the unusual photograph on his admit card.

Kumar said he has contacted the concerned recruitment authority several times seeking correction of the alleged error.

He stated that multiple complaints have been submitted requesting that the photograph on the admit card be replaced with the correct one.

Despite these efforts, Kumar claims that he has not yet received any response from officials responsible for the recruitment process.

With the examination date approaching, Kumar has urged the authorities to rectify the problem quickly. He said the correction is necessary so that he can appear for the recruitment test without complications.
